Hi there 👋🏼 My name is Kimberly Jones (I go by Kimberly ☺️) I am a licensed cosmetologist and certified sugarist with 16+ years of experience specializing in Brazilian services and low maintenance home care. I independently own & operate Peachy Keen Waxing Studio in a very quaint part of Glen Allen,Va. Literally right by the train tracks and across from the local market, it’s a step back in time. To cancel or reschedule your appointment please do so yourself by clicking “manage appointment” through your automated emails at time of booking or links in all texts sent by my software. This feature is available up to 24 hours in advance of your reservation. ▫️Payment: Card/Cash/Venmo ▫️Late arrivals: Due to the short nature of waxing appointments and back to back scheduling, there isn’t much wiggle room for lost time. A grace period of 10 minutes will be given for arrival for regulars and 5 minutes for new clients (more time is needed). Should you run later than 5-10 minutes, your appointment will more than likely require rescheduling. I understand that unavoidable things come up, and will always do my best to make accommodations whenever I can. Text me if you’re running late and I’ll let you know when you’re in route if we need to reschedule! Thank you for understanding ☺️ ▫️Medications/Contradictions: •Antibiotics/ Sterioids: You MUST have finished your last dose two weeks prior to a waxing/sugaring session anywhere on your body. •Retinols (facial waxing): 7-10 days since last use •Yeast Infections/STI/UTI: Wait for all symptoms to clear completely. •Accutane: One full year since treatment has ended. ▫️Illness: If you aren’t feeling well, I would be happy to reschedule you to a time when you are feeling better. Please, do not come to your appointment if you are sick. ▫️Menstrual Cycle/Spotting: Yes, you can still get waxed! Just put in a fresh tampon or feminine cup prior to your service. *For sanitary reasons, this is a requirement, even if you are just “spotting”. ▫️Hair length: For full body waxing & bikini services the area to be waxed must be 1/4 of an inch. If your hair is longer, it is not necessary to trim before your appointment and doing so may impact results. Facial Waxing & underarms must be two weeks since last shave/trim/tweeze. ▫️Guests/Children: No guests will be able to accompany you into the treatment room. I have a private waiting room where they are welcome to sit. Remember - waxing appointments are usually quick! Exceptions are made for infants and toddlers 😉 Mommas gotta get waxed too!
